Accessibility Statement

We want anyone in the Evansville area to be able to get a price and book a service on this site.

Draft — not yet reviewed. This policy is a working draft prepared for Done By Sam and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Anything shown in brackets still needs a real business detail. It must be completed and reviewed before the site goes live.

What we aim for

We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our working standard. That is the benchmark commonly applied to U.S. business websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

  • Text and interface colours are checked for readable contrast.
  • Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • A "skip to main content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
  • Pages use real headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
  • Every form field has a label, and errors are announced, not just coloured red.
  • Buttons say what they do, including icon-only buttons.
  • Informative images carry descriptive text; purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Layouts work on a phone, and tap targets are large enough to hit comfortably.

Known gaps

The instant quote asks you to estimate an area in square feet. If that is difficult, call or message us and we will size it for you and quote the same way — you will never pay more for booking by phone.
